I am using these gates with two extensions (21" and 10.5" to fit a 64" opening, and 14" and 17.5" to fix a 61" opening) - they work great! (I think the hallway gate would have been a better option for the size of the opening, but I didn't read the description closely and just focused on the "2 gate value pack" portion. :) Anyways...) A helpful hint when ordering and trying to determine what gate & extensions to use...the DreamBaby website has a gate calculator.I love the extra tall height. My 9 month old son will stand at the gate shaking it and it does not budge! The door is easy to open one handed and I it automatically closes behind me. I used the double sided tape to mount the cups to the walls and it works great (I didn't want to have to drill holes into my baseboards). We have 3 of these DreamBaby gates in our home and I feel that my son is safe and he can explore without being hurt. I would definitely recommend these gates.

This is the first gate that I have found that has been tall enough and strong enough to keep one of my Dobermans separate from the others while still allowing them all to be free in the house.

The gate itself is sturdy and looks good. I downrated it because the wall anchors are nothing but fairly shallow plastic cups. The cups must be mounted to studs (or, as in my case, you'll need to install cleats between studs).
